A collection of four songs selected from 11 songs from a cassette tape recorded in a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee named Wilson while parked at mile 123 of Highway 61.

In Hindsight (27th of May 2019): The process of making this album was inspired by the archetype of the the musician who goes off the grid and makes surrounded by nature. I also wanted to test myself and push to be comfortable with very little space or belongings. So I moved into my car in the time surrounding the writing/recording of this album.

Everything was live, with no multi-tracking due to the fact that i was recording into a entertainment center type tape deck through a mixer. any effects were added later from the built in effects on my mixer. It was a very minimal process which forced me to thing about how the songs were structured and how they could be live. On the song RAIN, for example, I tuned my guitar into an open tuning so i could play it with one hand while playing the harmonica with another and then i turned up the reverb to such a level that it seemed to create sounds that never existed. Everything was a surprise like this.

There were originally 11 songs planned. 11 were recorded. 9 made it onto the original version, and now only 4 remain. These four I believe capture the ideas I sought to put out into the world and best captured the experience i was living while in my car.
